Every November the streets around Victoria Park turn into a racetrack, and for a few days a large part of South Australia's business community ends up in the same place. Last year, CodeFish Studio hosted a corporate suite at the bp Adelaide Grand Final for the first time, and we used it to launch the CodeFish Studio brand.
Looking back at last year
Over several days of the event we welcomed business owners, operators and leaders from across South Australia. There were no presentations and no sales pitches between races. Just good racing, good hospitality and a lot of honest conversation about how businesses actually run.
Many of those conversations didn't end at the track. In the weeks that followed, a number of guests came to visit us at our studio in Thebarton to keep talking. We wrote up four days at the 2025 bp Adelaide Grand Final at the time.

Why we do it
First, relationships come before projects. The work we care about most is long-term: embedding in a client's operations and delivering measurable outcomes over years, not shipping something and walking away. That kind of work starts with trust, and trust starts with time spent together without an agenda.
Second, we're part of the South Australian business community, not just selling into it. We're based in Thebarton, and an event that brings SA business together is one we want to be part of and contribute to.
Third, we learn. The most useful thing we take from a day in the suite is hearing how operations really run: where the spreadsheets are, which handovers break, what keeps people up at night. That understanding shapes what we build.

Why these industries
This year we're building on that by giving each day a focus: retail and services, manufacturing and logistics, food, beverage and agribusiness, and construction and infrastructure.
That focus comes straight from our Vision 2030 strategy, which sets out where CodeFish is heading and the kinds of businesses we want to work alongside.
These industries share one thing: operational complexity. Rosters, stock, fleets, compliance, quoting, scheduling, and handovers across sites and teams. Putting people from the same industry in one room changes the conversation, because guests recognise each other's challenges and the talk moves past small talk quickly.
It's also where custom software and AI earn their keep. Not as a shiny add-on, but by cutting the manual work and delays that cost these businesses money every week. Under Vision 2030, our goal is to be Australia's leading operational intelligence partner, helping businesses run smarter, adapt faster and grow continuously, through software, automation and AI that reduce costs and create capacity.

See you at the track
We're back in the suite for this year's bp Adelaide Grand Final, 26 to 29 November, and we're looking forward to more of the same conversations.
